Bhausaheb Fundkar Falbag Lagvad Scheme
The Bhausaheb Fundkar Falbag Lagvad Scheme is an important agricultural scheme launched by the Government of Maharashtra from Kharif season 2018-19. The main objective of this scheme is to increase the horticulture area through the plantation of 16 perennial fruit crops and increase farmers’ income. Subsidy is provided over three years, with a mandatory survival rate of 80% in the first year and 90% in the second year.

Mango, Cashew, Guava, Sapota (Chiku), Custard Apple, Pomegranate, Lemon, Coconut, Tamarind, Fig, Amla (Indian Gooseberry), Kokum, Jackfruit, Jamun (Java Plum), Orange, Sweet Lime (Mosambi)
Key Benefits
Under this scheme, subsidies are provided through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for various aspects of fruit plantation:
- Pit Digging
- Planting of Grafts/Seedlings
- Chemical & Organic Fertilizers
- Crop Protection & Gap Filling
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
- The applicant must own cultivable agricultural land:
- Konkan Division: 0.10 to 10.00 hectares
- Rest of Maharashtra: 0.20 to 6.00 hectares
- Priority: Small/marginal farmers, Scheduled Castes/Tribes (SC/ST), women farmers.

- Institutional landholders/beneficiaries.

- Visit the MahaDBT Portal.
- Register or log in.
- Go to “Agriculture” section → Select “Bhausaheb Fundkar Falbag Lagvad Scheme”.
- Fill the application, upload required documents, and submit.
- Verification is done by local agricultural officers.
