Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana 2026

This is a very important government scheme aims to provide farmers with an independent and sustainable irrigation source.

Key Features of the Scheme

• For farmers in the general category, a complete set of solar panels and an agricultural pump is provided by paying only 10 percent of the cost.
• For farmers belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, the beneficiary’s share is only 5 percent.
• The remaining amount is provided as a subsidy from the Central and State Governments.
• Pumps ranging from 3 to 7.5 HP are provided depending on the land area.
• A five-year repair guarantee, including insurance, is provided.
• No electricity bills, no worry about load shedding, and electricity supply for irrigation during the day.

Beneficiary Selection Criteria

• Farmers with up to 2.5 acres of agricultural land are eligible for solar agricultural pumps with a capacity of up to 3 HP.
• Farmers with 2.51 to 5 acres of agricultural land are eligible for a 5 HP capacity pump.
• Farmers with more than 5 acres of agricultural land are eligible for a 7.5 HP solar agricultural pump. (If a pump of lower capacity than the eligible capacity is requested, it will be permissible).
• Owners of individual or community farm ponds, wells, borewells, as well as farmers with agricultural land next to perennial rivers/streams, are also eligible.
• A sustainable water source will be verified by MSEDCL. (Pumps cannot be used to lift water from water storage created through water conservation work meant for groundwater recharge).
• Farmers who have not benefited from Atal Solar Krishi Pump Yojana-1, Atal Solar Krishi Pump Yojana-2, and Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Pump Yojana will also be eligible.
