Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana

To free women from kitchen smoke and provide relief from the high costs of gas cylinders during inflation, the Maharashtra State Government launched the ‘Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana’. Under this scheme, eligible families receive 3 LPG gas cylinders completely free of charge annually.

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

• Ladki Bahin Beneficiaries: Women receiving benefits under the ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin’ scheme are eligible.
• Ujjwala Yojana Beneficiaries: Beneficiaries of the ‘Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY)’ in Maharashtra are also eligible.
• The gas connection must be registered in the name of the woman.
• There is a limit of 3 free cylinders per family (per ration card).

💰 Benefits & Subsidy

• Families are provided with 3 free LPG gas cylinders in a financial year (April to March).
• After booking and paying the full amount for the cylinder, the state government deposits the base amount of the cylinder directly into the woman’s bank account (DBT) as a subsidy.

📋 Procedure & Required Documents

1. No Separate Application: There is no need to fill out a separate application form for this scheme.
2. Data Linking: Beneficiaries are selected by matching data from the Ladki Bahin scheme and Gas Companies (HP, Indane, Bharat Gas) at the government level.
3. Rules: To receive the benefit, the woman’s Aadhaar card must be linked to her bank account and gas connection. The woman must also book the cylinder under her own name.
